This Privacy Policy explains how Jai Roop Textile Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "the Company") collects and uses information through the Jairoop mobile application and web portal (together, the "App"). The App is an internal business tool provided only to the Company's own employees and authorised staff for work purposes. It is not a consumer product and requires a Company-issued login.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect data needed to run our internal business operations:
- Location data (including background/precise location): For staff assigned to field duty, the App records the device's location during working hours so the Company can track field visits, work routes, distance travelled and duty attendance. Location may be collected while the App is running in the background so that a duty route is not lost if the App is minimised.
- Account & login information: The user ID, display name and role assigned by the Company, used to authenticate the user and show the correct sections.
- Device & push information: A push-notification token and basic device identifiers, used to deliver work notifications (for example, call and task alerts) to the assigned employee's device.
- Work records entered by the user: Information the employee submits as part of their job — such as visit notes, task updates, inspection checklists, photos and attendance — is stored against their account.
2. How We Use the Information
- To record and manage employee field visits, work routes and duty attendance.
- To deliver work-related notifications to the correct employee.
- To operate the Company's internal management systems (orders, samples, tasks, payments, maintenance, inspections and related work).
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing. Location and personal data are used solely for the Company's internal work purposes.
3. Background Location
Field-duty users are informed by the Company that their location is tracked during working hours, and the App requests location permission before any tracking begins. A persistent notification is shown on the device while duty tracking is active. Location tracking is limited to work use.
4. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage and Cloud Functions) operated on Google Cloud infrastructure. Access is restricted to authorised Company administrators through role-based logins. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data against unauthorised access.
5. Data Retention
Work and location records are retained for as long as needed for the Company's business and record-keeping requirements, and may be deleted on request where there is no ongoing business or legal need to keep them.
6. Data Sharing
Information is accessible only to authorised Company staff and administrators. We use Google Firebase as our infrastructure provider, which processes data on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
7. Your Rights
As this is an internal employee application, employees may contact the Company to review, correct or request deletion of their personal data, subject to the Company's business and legal record-keeping needs.
8. Children
The App is intended only for the Company's adult employees and is not directed at children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page.
